Product Description

The Martin D-28 is one of the absolute classics among steel-string guitars and has been synonymous with the legendary Martin dreadnought sound for decades. Hardly any other model has shaped the world of acoustic guitars as much as the D-28 with its combination of spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides.

The Martin D-28 impresses with a very open and well-rehearsed sound. The basses are rich and powerful, the mids pleasantly warm and the trebles clear and brilliant without being sharp. Especially when strumming, the guitar develops enormous fullness and projection, but at the same time remains very differentiated and balanced even when playing fingerstyle. A really excellent sounding D-28 with a lot of character.

With its classic dreadnought design, the guitar delivers exactly the big, sustaining Martin sound that countless musicians have appreciated for decades. The response is direct and dynamic, while the rosewood body provides additional depth and overtones.

The overall condition is very good. The guitar shows normal signs of use with minor dings and dongs, but nothing problematic or structural. The frets are in almost new condition.

The guitar has been carefully checked and optimally adjusted by us. The neck curvature and string action are perfectly adjusted so that the Martin D-28 can be played cleanly and without buzzing across the entire fretboard.

The string action is 2.5 mm on the low E-string and 1.75 mm on the high E-string, measured at the 12th fret.
