The 2016 Taylor 412ce Limited 12-Fret is an exceptionally high-quality limited edition model that combines premium materials with the distinctive tonal characteristics of a 12-fret design. The compact Grand Concert body shape ensures maximum playing comfort and makes this guitar a true pleasure for both fingerstyle and light strumming.

Due to the neck-to-body transition at the 12th fret, the bridge is positioned further toward the center of the top, giving the guitar a particularly resonant response and allowing it to produce an astonishingly rich sound despite its compact design. The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top and beautifully grained, solid ovangkol for the back and sides ensures a balanced, warm, and at the same time very transparent tone with excellent dynamics. The three-piece back with its smoky ebony center strip, along with the ebony binding, lends the guitar an exceptionally elegant appearance.

The Taylor 412ce Limited 12-Fret is equipped with the proven Taylor Expression System 2, which amplifies the guitar’s natural sound with great authenticity and dynamics. This makes the instrument equally suitable for the studio, the stage, or playing at home.

It is in like-new condition. The frets are also in like-new condition. The original receipt from the time of purchase is included.

We carefully set up every guitar. We adjust the neck radius and string action to ensure that the guitar plays cleanly, comfortably, and without buzzing across the entire fretboard.

The string action is 3.0 mm on the low E string and 2.2 mm on the high e string, measured at the 12th fret.
