Product Description

The Martin D-18 from the 2017 model year is one of the absolute classics from Martin and has been impressing for decades with its direct, open and wonderfully woody sound character. This model already has the wider 44.5 mm nut width and the forward-shifted X-bracing, which makes the guitar particularly open, dynamic and at the same time very pleasant to play.

The combination of solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides ensures a very balanced tone with powerful mids, clear highs and a tight bass foundation. The Martin D-18 has a convincing sound with a very fast response, enormous dynamics and a wonderfully dry, well-rehearsed sound. A great Martin dreadnought with excellent projection and lots of character.

The forward-shifted bracing makes the guitar particularly lively and resonant. It reacts sensitively to different velocities and is ideal for strumming, flatpicking and fingerstyle.

The overall condition is very good to mint with only a few small traces of use. The frets are in almost new condition.

The guitar has been carefully checked and optimally adjusted by us. The neck curvature and string action are perfectly adjusted so that the Martin D-18 can be played cleanly and without buzzing across the entire fingerboard.

The string action is 2.75 mm on the low E-string and 2.2 mm on the high E-string, measured at the 12th fret.
