Guild F-512 ATB

The Guild F-512 ATB from the Traditional Series is one of the most renowned 12-string acoustic guitars in the world. This legendary, U.S.-made jumbo has been a benchmark among high-quality 12-string guitars for decades and is known for its powerful yet astonishingly balanced tone.

Sonically, the F-512 makes impressive use of its large jumbo body shape. The combination of AAA Sitka spruce and East Indian rosewood produces a full, open, and harmonically rich tone with a powerful bass foundation, brilliant highs, and excellent string separation. As a 12-string, in particular, it produces an impressively broad, shimmering tone with tremendous presence and projection. Despite its size, the guitar responds very directly to the player’s touch and excels in both powerful strumming and more nuanced playing styles.

The guitar is equipped with a high-quality LR Baggs Anthem pickup system. The combination of a microphone and a piezo pickup captures the complex sound of the twelve strings in a very natural and dynamic way, making the guitar ideal for both stage and studio use.

Overall, the guitar is in very good to like-new condition. It shows hardly any signs of wear and has apparently been played very little. The frets are also in very good to nearly like-new condition.

We carefully set up every guitar. We adjust the neck radius and string action to ensure that the guitar plays cleanly, comfortably, and without buzzing across the entire fretboard.

The string action is an excellent 2.5 mm on the low E string and 2.0 mm on the high e string, measured at the 12th fret.
