Thanks to its short scale length of 632 mm, the guitar also has a pleasantly smooth playing feel and is ideal for fingerstyle, picking, and strumming. <\/p>\n
The Martin 000-28 offered here was built in 2015. Sonically, it offers the classic character of the time-tested combination of Sitka spruce and East Indian rosewood. The tone is warm, full, and rich in overtones, with a beautiful bass foundation, clear treble, and excellent balance across all strings. It is precisely the combination of the shorter scale length and the compact 000 body that makes this model an extremely versatile and comfortable-to-play Martin. <\/p>\n
A particular highlight is the beautiful sunburst finish. It gives the otherwise very classic 000-28 a distinctive vintage character and makes this model visually unique. <\/p>\n
It is in very good condition. The guitar has been treated with great care and shows no significant signs of wear. The frets are also in like-new condition. <\/p>\n
We carefully set up every guitar. We adjust the neck radius and string action to ensure that the guitar plays cleanly, comfortably, and without buzzing across the entire fretboard. <\/p>\n
The string action is 2.6 mm on the low E string and 2.1 mm on the high e string, measured at the 12th fret.<\/p>\n
