The specifications are heavily based on a classic Tony Rice-inspired dreadnought, with one key distinction: the back and sides are made of wenge. Combined with the high-quality Italian spruce top, this results in an exceptional combination of woods that is very rarely found. <\/p>\n
Wenge is considered one of the few woods that comes very close to Brazilian rosewood in both sound and appearance, and is known for its powerful bass, tremendous clarity, strong projection, and excellent string separation. At the same time, wenge is one of the most demanding woods in guitar making. Due to its hardness and the labor-intensive processing it requires, Rozawood charges a significant premium for wenge models. <\/p>\n

We carefully set up every guitar. We adjust the neck radius and string action to ensure that the guitar plays cleanly, comfortably, and without buzzing across the entire fretboard. <\/p>\n
The string action is 2.9 mm on the low E string and 2.0 mm on the high e string, measured at the 12th fret.<\/p>\n
