The Martin HD-28 STT is an exceptionally high-quality custom store Martin that has been equipped with extremely select materials and numerous Golden Era features. Even the original new price of around 6000 euros shows that this is a very special instrument. The guitar was purchased new by the first owner on 09.12.2015. Particularly noteworthy is the solid High Altitude Swiss Spruce top made from certified European Alpine spruce. Together with the premium East Indian Rosewood for the back and sides, an exceptionally high-quality wood combination has been used here that can only be found on much more exclusive models. In addition, the Martin HD-28 STT is equipped with scalloped Golden Era bracing and features many other high-quality details such as the Fine Herringbone rosette, the D-28-style faux tortoise pickguard, Diamond & Squares long-pattern abalone inlays and high-quality Grover StaTite vintage tuners. <\/p>\n
In terms of sound, this Martin is absolutely impressive. The sound is big, open and very balanced with a powerful bass foundation, clear trebles and beautiful dynamics. The guitar responds very directly and has exactly the big, full Martin dreadnought sound that you want from such a custom store model. <\/p>\n
The condition is very good to as good as new. There are only minimal traces of playing. The frets are also in excellent condition. <\/p>\n
The guitar has been carefully checked and optimally adjusted by us. The neck curvature and string action are perfectly adjusted so that the Martin HD-28 STT can be played cleanly and without buzzing across the entire fretboard. <\/p>\n
The string action is 2.7 mm on the low E-string and 2.0 mm on the high E-string, measured at the 12th fret.<\/p>\n
