The Larrivee SD-03 Walnut is an exceptional slope shoulder dreadnought that clearly stands out from classic models thanks to its special wood combination and construction. For decades, Larrivee has stood for precise manufacturing quality and a clear, well-balanced sound character that is outstanding both in the studio and live. <\/p>\n
The guitar is equipped with a solid Sitka spruce top and Peruvian walnut back and sides. This combination delivers a very balanced sound with tight basses, warm mids and clear trebles. The walnut wood combines the warmth of mahogany with the clarity of rosewood and creates an independent, very musical tone. The 12-fret construction also supports an open response and a full sound volume. <\/p>\n
This model comes from a limited special run of only 12 instruments built. This Larrivee SD-03 Walnut is number 12 of 12 and therefore a correspondingly rare model. <\/p>\n
The guitar was made in 2010 and has a generous nut width of 48 mm and a scale length of 650 mm. This results in very comfortable playability, especially for fingerstyle players. In addition, a high-quality AER AK 15 Plus pickup is installed, which transmits the acoustic sound in a very natural and differentiated way. <\/p>\n
The overall condition is good. There are normal traces of playing in the form of light scratches and signs of use. The frets show slight signs of wear and are in good condition. <\/p>\n
The guitar has been carefully checked and optimally adjusted by us. The neck curvature and string action are perfectly adjusted so that the guitar can be played cleanly and without buzzing across the entire fretboard. <\/p>\n
