The Martin D-28S 12 Fret builds on this tradition and is based on the early 12-fret dreadnoughts of the 1930s. The Martin D-28S is one of the rare variants within the D-28 family. Models from the 1980s in particular were only produced in very small numbers. Only 7 of the 1985 model year were produced, making this guitar a real rarity for collectors and players. <\/p>\n
The Martin D-28S 12 Fret offered here from 1985 is in very good condition. All parts are original, including the original Martin case. There are only a few age-appropriate traces of use, which emphasize the authentic vintage character without affecting the guitar visually or technically. <\/p>\n
The string action is set very comfortably and is 2.5 mm at the 12th fret on the low E-string and 2.2 mm on the high E-string. In combination with the wide nut width, the guitar plays pleasantly, confidently and in a very relaxed manner. <\/p>\n
