For sale is a Martin HD-28 Dierks Bentley Signature Custom – a special custom signature dreadnought developed in collaboration with multi-platinum country artist Dierks Bentley. Known for his unique blend of bluegrass and modern country, Bentley has been a longtime Martin player. This guitar is based on the legendary HD-28 and features custom details that highlight its distinctive character.

The solid Adirondack spruce top delivers a clear, powerful tone with excellent dynamics. Combined with solid East Indian rosewood for the back and sides, it produces a full, balanced sound with rich bass and sparkling highs. The forward-shifted X-bracing allows for impressive resonance and quick response. Visually, the guitar stands out with its striking red, white, and blue herringbone binding and the Phoenix inlay at the 12th fret – a tribute to Bentley’s hometown of Phoenix, Arizona.

The solid mahogany neck with a modified V-profile sits comfortably in the hand, offering a classic Martin playing feel. The 645 mm scale length, combined with low action, ensures excellent playability. A factory Plek setup guarantees precise intonation and an optimal playing experience.

The guitar is in overall excellent condition, though there are some superficial play marks that add an authentic patina to the instrument.
Additionally, some oxidation has appeared on the finish near the neck joint and fretboard markers – a phenomenon occasionally seen on Martin guitars. This is purely a cosmetic detail with no impact on the stability or sound of the guitar.
