Description

For sale is an extremely rare Martin 5-16, a Mini-Martin that was only produced in very limited quantities from 1962 to 1963. A total of only 127 of these guitars were made. This model temporarily replaced the better-known 5-18, which had been one of the company’s most popular guitars since the 1950s. The 5-16 stands out for its small yet powerful design and sparkling sound, making it perfect for travel, studio recordings, or even live performances.

This guitar features a mahogany body, combined with a spruce top, and a fretboard and bridge made from rosewood. Despite its compact size, it is a professional instrument with excellent playability and sound quality.

Condition:
The guitar is in great condition. There are plenty of signs of use but no breaks, cracks, or other damage. It simply looks fantastic with this vintage look—authentic and charming. The frets are in top condition, contributing to its superb playability.

The guitar comes with a modern soft gig bag.
