The guitar comes from the first owner. She bought the guitar in the USA in 1961 at the age of 14 and brought it to Germany in 1967. The condition is excellent—no cracks, breaks, or similar issues. Even the inside of the guitar looks like it’s from the 2000s, not the 60s. Every part is original! From the frets, the bridge inlay, the reglued bridge, the nut, the pickguard, to the tuners.

The sound is simply fantastic. It sounds exactly how you would imagine a vintage Martin to sound—warm with very good sustain. The string spacing at the 12th fret is E = 4 mm and e = 3.25 mm. The string action can be slightly adjusted by the bridge inlay. Despite the slightly higher string action, the guitar can be played very well even in the lower frets. The original case is still present, though it is a little worn and needs some repairs.
