For sale is an exceptional Boucher SG-22, a dreadnought guitar that has been specially developed to meet the high demands of discerning guitarists.
Whether on stage or in the studio, this guitar delivers the precision and sound you expect from a first-class instrument.
The top of the SG-22 is made of Adirondack Red Spruce of the highest quality grade (AAAA).
This wood is personally selected by Robin Boucher to ensure that it offers the tonal characteristics required for a high-class sound.
Compared to other spruce species, Adirondack Red Spruce is characterized by a higher stiffness and an exceptional dynamic range.
This enables a powerful projection and clarity that is convincing in any musical situation.
The body of the guitar is made from African bubinga, a wood known for its distinctive tonality.
Bubinga delivers a focused and assertive sound with clear mids and strong basses, making the guitar ideal for solo performances and studio recordings.
The Forward Shifted X-Bracing made of hand-carved Adirondack Red Spruce ensures optimum resonance and projection, while the one-piece neck made of South American mahogany in combination with the fingerboard and bridge made of solid ebony ensures excellent playability and comfort.
With a scale length of 648 mm (25.5″) and a nut width of 44.5 mm, the SG-22 offers the perfect playing feel for fingerstyle and strumming alike.
The high-quality workmanship and well thought-out details such as the Herringbone purfling and the maple bindings give this guitar a special touch not only in terms of sound but also visually.
This guitar was purchased new in December 2023 and is in mint condition.
The original price was 4650€.
Meanwhile, the Boucher SG-22 is only available outside Europe, with prices starting from 5000€ upwards.
This Boucher Studio Goose SG-22 is a true masterpiece that impresses both in the studio and on stage.
It is the ideal instrument for guitarists who demand the highest standards of sound and playability.
