Fender Highway Dreadnought

The Fender Highway Dreadnought represents a modern approach to acoustic guitar making and combines classic elements with innovative construction. Fender deliberately breaks new ground with the Highway series and focuses on a particularly light, ergonomic construction with a surprisingly powerful sound.

The Fender Highway Dreadnought is equipped with a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides. The special construction with tapered floating X-bracing and chambered body ensures a very direct response and a dynamic sound with clear projection. Despite the slimmer construction, the guitar develops a full, resonant tone with good depth and balance.

The rosewood fingerboard and the rosewood bridge also ensure a pleasant feel and support the balanced sound character. All in all, the result is a very versatile instrument that is ideal for both strumming and fingerstyle.

A special highlight of the Fender Highway Dreadnought is the built-in Fishman Fluence Acoustic pickup system. It transmits the natural sound very clearly and differentiated and offers a wide range of applications thanks to the simple control – ideal for stage and studio.

The guitar was made in 2024 and is in very good to almost mint condition. There is a small pressure mark on the lower frame, which was caused by contact with the edge of a table. Otherwise, the instrument is in a very well-kept overall condition.

The guitar has been carefully checked and optimally adjusted by us. The neck curvature and string action are perfectly adjusted so that the Fender Highway Dreadnought can be played cleanly and without buzzing across the entire fretboard.

The string action is
2.7 mm on the low E-string and
2.4 mm on the high E-string
measured at the 12th fret.
